Aditi Nayar highlights RBI’s June 5 MPC decision: repo rate and stance unchanged, with downward GDP and upward inflation revisions amid global uncertainties. While policy tone stayed hawkish, capital account measures may support INR. Strong Q4 services lifted growth outlook; FY2027 GDP is projected at 6.5% and CPI inflation at 5.1%.
